There Is Still A Pulse
Yes, I'm still here. About a year ago I was still recovering from being hospitalized in November the year before, but improving, dealing with changes at work that still bug me, and working with a new tablet computer. Ups and Downs
I'd have called it a roller coaster, but there were no thrills involved.
Needless to say, we had a rough time for a while at work. I'm really looking forward to some down time with my husband and friends this weekend. Time to unwind.
There will be crocheting involved. -
Up and Down
We had pretty bad system problems at work today. The network kept going down.
This made it difficult since we would have sudden freezes while we were on the line with callers. I survived it though, and we did get SOME things done.
Now, in an unrelated situation, I have to start to learn Windows 8... -

Another Bloody Eye
I woke up this morning with a subconjunctival hemorrhage in my left eye. I love it when these happen... no warning, no real cause (though the eye had been bothering me over the weekend, and between a bit of rubbing and my high bp that was probably a contributing factor). In the greater picture of Science Fiction and Fantasy there are people who go all out, but I'm sure most are like me.
