To hell with optimism

My last post ended on a pretty light note with me promising to finish my story, regardless of my own reluctance. I think it would be fair to call that post 'optimistic' and by that definition, this post is definitley pessimistic ( Read more... )

I for one say take your time! Especially for the ending. I don't mind the wait so much, just because I know that it takes time. That's why so far I've only written one-shots and drabbles, and have refrained from even starting multi-chaptered fics (though I've been meaning to). I admire how you're balancing school and writing. I can never find time unless I schedule myself a timeline, but I go over it anyways. See, I'm supposed to be writing an essay due tomorrow, but I haven't started yet. I know, I know, procrastinating. Besides, if people don't want to read WIP fics, then they can search for completed ones. What matters is that you're happy with the end result. =)

I commented on your other blog but yes, I feel the same way sometimes. Writing comes quite natural to me (thank goodness) and I also am basing mine from HBP so I sort of use that as a guide, keeping me in check and making sure I have the right events at the right time. Yours would be so much harder, since it's post Hogwarts and anything can happen.

I can't believe it's been two years, that's crazy! I meant to comment on this earlier, but I'm so glad you haven't rushed the kiss between them. So many stories lose my attention simply by rushing and creating a soft, cheesy, Draco. I really like the way you have built your relationship between the two because now when (I'm going on a limb here lol) they kiss, it will be that more magical. =)

Good luck with your writing! Keep us updated, I for one am really excited about the confrontation between Draco and Hermione. And I hope Cassius isn't bad. There, that's it. =)
