I made my journal "friends only " in July after finding out that in my 9 months of absence from LJ, bots and spammers had gained entry. I'm friendly but I don't fancy these pretenders at all. Please comment here and introduce yourself if you want to be added to my Friends' List. I will add you back in due time.

You are smart to have it friends only. You don't actually have to KNOW the people who are your friends on here, but if your don't know them in person, you want to see enough of them on other blogs to be sure they will be polite.

Thanks for stopping by and for the FL tips. I hesitated to go Friends Only but I can't deal with spammers & bots. Right now, my FL includes people I know in person and some of their LJ friends. My FL here started out with the one I know in person, our friend Trish, whom I often call Patricia. So I got to add many people from her FL including you. Then there's Suzanne, Trishes' friend, whom I also got to meet in person, and I got to add some of her friends too. I met Donna in Trishes' and Suzanne's blog and got to actually visit her in Spain last year. So I've added some of Donn'a friends in my FL too. I've been away from LJ a lot that I haven't been to many blogs, thus haven't had much interaction with LJers. Am slowly but hopefully surely getting back, though, and increasing my FL. Love to meet new people and network.
