Summary: Jimmy is dorky and Chloe is drunk.

"Say ahh..."

Chloe stops her drink midway to her mouth to look over the bottle at Jimmy.

Sweet, innocent, dorky Jimmy Olsen.

"Did I tell you I made the fake id's that got us in here tonight?" He said, talking directly to her chest.

Sweet, innocent, and drunk off his dorky ass Jimmy.

"Yes, Jimmy you did." She took a drink of her beer, grimacing over the bitter taste. It was her third and she had been told by Holly, one of the other staffers with them at the club that night that it got better tasting the more you drank, but she wasn't buying it. "Twice."

Jimmy was one of the new interns at the Planet this summer. Glorified gopher is what it really was. That had been her job last year. Before she had made her deal with Lionel Luthor and gotten her column.

She took another drink. She didn't want to think about Lionel tonight. Thinking about Lionel made her think about her deal with him. Her deal to dig up dirt on Clark. Clark who was her friend, or at least had been, before he disappeared.

She didn't want to think about Clark. Sweet, innocent, dorky Clark Kent. The boy she had been in love with since she was 13 years old.

At least she thinks its love.

Finishing her drink, Chloe slammed her empty bottle back down on the bar.

"You want another?" Jimmy asked her.

She shook her head no and immediately regretted it. The room kept moving after her head stopped. That didn't seem right. She stood up and fell back against the bar.

"You okay?" Jimmy was at her side. He looked concerned. His soft caring eyes giving her something to focus on in the flashing lights of the club.

"I think I need air." Chloe started walking away, towards the outer doors. Air. Air sounded good.

"I'll come with you." Jimmy followed her, his hand placed on the small of her back, guiding her through the crowd. "This isn't a good neighborhood. I'll protect you."

"I don't need protection. I can take care of myself." She didn't want a bodyguard. She already had one. Once. Or at least he had felt like her bodyguard.

"When you look as hot as you look tonight, I wouldn't feel safe with you out there by yourself."

Jimmy thought she looked hot. She did look hot damn it. It had taken her hours to pick out the perfect clubbing outfit and it was nice someone noticed her hotness once in a while.

Even if she didn't have long dark hair and look like a china doll.

They made it out of the club. Once the cooler night air hit her, Chloe realized she didn't want to go back into the club. It was too noisy in there, too hot. Outside was nice. A walk might clear her head.

"Car." She told Jimmy, setting off towards where she had left her car, a few blocks away in a parking garage.

"You're drunk. You're not driving home, Chloe."

She giggled. Jimmy sounded like a public service announcement. All moral and righteous.

He sounded like Clark.

"I know that silly. I left my cell and taxi money in the trunk."

They walked along in silence. Her head was clearing, but it was still a bit fuzzy. Her ankle turned on a step and when her heel broke, she almost went down, but Jimmy caught her. His arm around her tight and swung her up against him.

"You ok?"

"My shoe broke." She said pouting. Damn cheap ass italian knock-offs.

His arms around her tighten and Chloe enjoyed the feeling of being in someone's arms. It has been a while since she had even been hugged by a member of the opposite sex. He pulled her closer to him and her chest pressed up against his, her shirt shifting to show a little bit more skin. His eyes widened at the sight of her cleavage. It was nice to be acknowledge as being a girl sometimes.

Lowering his head, Jimmy kissed her.

It wasn't a bad kiss. It was sweet and new. He tasted a little limey and bitter, like the beer he had been drinking all night, Corona.

When he pulled away from her she just stood there and looked at him.

"We should get you that cab." Jimmy said when she still said nothing. Shocked and stunned, Chloe just stood there. She didn't get kissed by boys. She kissed boys and they stood there and took it.

With wide green eyes, Chloe took him in. Jimmy was cute, in a goofy way. A little skinnier than her tastes usually ran, but there was something about him that made her like him. He was sweet and protective and reminded her of someone...

Chloe leaned up and kissed him. It only took him a half a second to get into it and she let him take over it. Sighing at the ability to enjoy being the one being kissed, instead of the one working the kiss. This was something new for her, a boy who actually wanted to be kissed by her.

Being down by one heel was doing a real trick on her balance. She slid her hands up his chest, a rather flat and narrow place and up to his curly hair. She pulled his hair and drew him down closer to her. It needed to be longer and thicker. She imagined it was, That the curls where looser, more unruly waves than tight little blond curls. And darker. It needed to be dark, like night. Black against the whiteness of her hands in it.

The sound of a bottle breaking in the alley way behind them brought them both out of their kiss. Jimmy looked around in the darkness for moving shadows and danger. Chloe shivered in his arms. She had the oddest feeling they were being watched.

"We should move." Jimmy said, his voice breaking just a tad.

She nodded her head in agreement. Staring up at him, in the moonlight, his light eyes were colorless. She was pretty sure they were blue in the light of day. A light aqua color maybe, but in her mind right now they were a pale green.

"My car is just around the corner."

They hurried to the security of lit parking garage, glowing red eyes following them the whole way.
