Thank you Nozomi-chan for the lovely gift! You don't know how happy you have made me today. I wasn't expecting a AS/SM fic at all and the fact that you wrote this was a wonderful surprise.

I don't think the story is lacking at all. The jealousy and loneliness Usagi experienced fits into the story, as well as the general AS theme perfectly. AS revolved around love, distrust and jealousy, I think that you have managed to incorporate Usagi into that cycle beautifully.

Most stories put Usagi in the positive light, the perfect herione, it is refreshing to read a story that puts her in a dimmed spotlight, but still manages to preserve her innocence. And you remembered the plastic ring! It's a tiny detail that is so symbolic throughout the whole story. Also Kira! If there's another person who can understand what Usagi is experiencing, it's Kira, a wonderful touch.

*huggles Nozomi-chan* I don't know what else to say, except: thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!

I should actually probably thank you. Writing this renewed my interest in writing SM crosses (I say this nearly everytime I read or write a piece, but I've actually written for another piece today because of it) and the suggestion for and AS cross renewed my interest in that series when I hadn't really looked at it in years. I know that it's a very rare cross, and so I wanted to attempt it--I reread the manga volumes I have at home, but I only have 1-9, so it's not very far, and I lacked the confidence to try dealing with Michael or Rafael ( ... )

You're welcome! I'm really happy that the pairing was able to interest you again in writing crossovers. I miss you and your writings so much! God, you should see some of the 'stories' on ff.net right now >.<

I have AS scanlations on my computer if you want the rest of the series. AS is a rare story to cross with, not only because it is so different from SM, but also because the plot is so convoluted and the religious themes difficult to approach. Which makes this drabble even more precious ^_^ You really did a great job tackling the delicate issue of 'incest' in a very subtle way.

Lol, I only remembered the red ring when I saw it in the story. It is a tiny detail, but it comes up again and again in the manga. I agree that Rosiel would probably understand Usagi's jealousy too. There are just too many betrayals and broken hearts in AS it's difficult to keep track of them all ^^; I think I gave up around volume 18 ^^;

Of course I would love to read it if you decide to turn it into an official piece. Like you had to ask =P

♥ I do miss writing it quite a bit--I can't tell you the number of times I sit and contemplate working on things, but done. Strangely--sadly--the only times I seem to develop the drive to write are when I have loads of other things to do. I don't what's wrong with me; I must be masochistic, making my own expectations of myself so... backwards. xD;

I would love to have them! I read them along time ago (the ones from Omanga, I think it was) and then started to collect them when they came out in the states, but their release pace was slow, and I drifted out of it--it's an epic series with such a large and continually dying/replacing cast that, really, remembering everything can be tedious. I still have yet to read the 19-21 volumes. (I think it goes up to 21.) But if I had those scans again, I'd be okay with investing in the last of the series used, or something. And maybe it would spur me to writing more, who knows. Probably I'll just find a new way to make myself freak out about homework, but hey! xDDIt pops up alot. Alot, alot. Even ( ... )

AS is actually surprisingly not religious. Or rather, I should say, it does not preach. It is deeply submerged in the mythology of the religion, alot like people are when they write stories somehow concerning gods and goddesses and the like from religions dead and god. I do not believe that Kaori Yuki herself is a Christian, which is one of the things that makes the story (which is very complex) so amazing: she must have done extensive research to make her story work. More or less, if you remove its trappings within religion, AS is a gothic tragic romance about the taboo, love, and the way we treat the people around us ( ... )
