Wow...ok...so history is being made here...and seriously, I'm glad to see that we've got our first black president. Obama 297 vs. McCain 135 (306 vs 146 at the time McCain conceeded) It's amazing knowing that we've really come about, had a high voter turn out and our votes really mattered

No. Just fucking no. IF he manages to survive 'till the swearing in, which I doubt, he's a FUCKING POLITICIAN. I don't give a shit if he's black, white, red, or goddamn purple, he said what he had to to get in office. And now that he's en route, he'll forget all those little promises like lowering taxes or whatever the hell else he said. He'll raise taxes, ban firearms (just like every good democrat tries to), and shit on the first amendment. I don't have an official source, but I've heard he's going to try his hand at restricting free speech. Whoopee.
And when he does get shot by the 84908590485 white supremacists out there, and Biden gets in charge, he WILL ban all firearms. And this is bad for one big reason; no weapons means the government is able to crap on us and we CAN'T FIGHT BACK.

maybe I'm being a bit naive, but seriously, I REALLY doubt that that will occur. Not ALL Democrats are anti-2nd amendment.
We were going to get taxed either way...and you're completely out of it if you believe otherwise.

My concern is Dem Pres with Dem Congress.

I'm aware that any president is going to raise taxes. That's how its been for the past few administrations, no reason to end it now. I just wish people would stop treating this as the second coming or something. Obama supporters seem less like a political group and more like a cult.

at no point have I been "cultish" or "second-coming" about Obama. My POV has been more along the line of "lesser of 2 evils"
