Isn't Amy 5'9"? 5'9" + 110 lbs...very thin.

Especially since everyone is always saying that she's overweight.

Really? I've never heard Amy described as overweight.

I don't recall Amy ever being described as overweight. Lois Waller and Robin Wilson were the only two fatties in Sweet Valley.

I like the "Will Elizabeth be forced to choose between Amy and Enid?" No, she won't because she's rather stupid and doesn't realize it's been made for her. Since Amy went all vapid skank on her.

Also, it's been forever since I've read this book, but does Jessica at least attempt to put a brunette wig on? Because I'm sure Cleopatra wasn't a California blonde.

I was wondering the same thing, and it doesn't even say! This book is really lame.

I guess there's a reason why I called these books a Pit Stop. Because it's so easy to read you can be readby the time you're done. Darn them! I wanna know if Jessica was still a blonde, because you know she'd probably assume Cleo was made in her image.

Where were you when I first read this book and was all oooh, ahhh over Amy's pink outfit? You could've knocked some sense into my 13-year-old head. I always thought Elizabeth looked like WKRP's Jennifer Marlowe on the cover. And I'm totally going to start using "doormats" as a verb now.

Interestingly enough, I think this book actually came out a few months before the first Sweet Valley Twins book.

It did come out before the SVT books came out. It was kind of strange to read about how close Amy and Elizabeth were in the SVT books, knowing what a beeyatch Amy turned into.

That said, I did enjoy this book. : )

given how close together the publications are, I think it's pretty safe to assume that this was the case.

When Amy announces that she'll be trying out for the cheerleader squad. Elizabeth is dismayed, and unhappy that Amy isn't spending time with her.

If this book came out before Sweet Valley Twins, then that explains why Elizabeth is dismayed (and, I presume, surprised) that Amy tries out for the cheerleading squad. Because if she was on the squad in 6th grade (SVT), then it surely isn't out of character for her to be on it again in high school...
