Mmmmmmm. Chocolate and strawberries. Sweet like Sammy ;)

Excellent, hot and tasty fic!

please to be writing sequel where they get back to the flat and explore the rest of Sam's storecupboard? We already know he keeps jalapenos on hand. Ahem...

And now interactive fic! If you lic the screen, you'll taste chocolate strawberries.
Nah, I'm takin' the piss (but wouldn't it be great if I wasn't? :D).

Er, you do know that jalapenos, when applied to bare skin, create an unpleasant burning sensation, don't you? Maybe something less painful and more sexy, if there is a sequel, I'm making no promises :).

That would be great! Someone needs to invent that :D

Yes, I do know. And I would say 'unpleasant' is a highly subjective term' ;) *is sick and wrong in the head*

On the other hand, what if you were looking up stuff about plant fertilizer? ;)

You're not sick in the head, you just know what you like. Maybe thats a fic you should write? ;)

Mmm lovely! Strawberries, chocolate and handcuffs - it's a winning combination in anyone's book! :D Loved how they managed to get the L word out, right at the end there, and still sound casual rather than cloying - it's a neat trick, that.

I can't resist you, there, I said it, now can we get on to the shaggin'?

Ah Gene *sighs* - last of the great romantics. XD

It is, it's for the win! How could I fail to write hotness when I have such a winning combination to work with? And I'm not just talking about Sam and the Guv! ;)

I wasn't going to write the 'I love you' bit, but I do know that it's something that slips out sometimes when you're happy and relaxed. And I also tried to write it with some humour, so I think that helped as well :)

Yup, what a romantic guy Gene is. But face it, when you've got a reputation like his, you don't really mind if he isn't the flowers and chocolates type, as long as there is hot sexxx :D

Loved this! Sweet, but not cloying at all, plus the humour and the hotness - and the rather tender ending. Fab!

Couldn't help laughing at loud at this:
Most days, they'd work each other into a real froth and then just have at it.

And now I'm just sitting here with a soppy smile on my face, so thank you :)

I hate cloying, cloying is all *bleh*. And as for humour, the Sam and Gene in my head want to be silly, want to banter and have fun, because that's how they show affection for each other :) And the hotness? It writes itself :D

Would you believe that was just a throwaway line? Glad you liked it though. And yeh, they would be all like that, because they're up for it, and they are not either of them patient men.

Soppy smiles=best applause ever <3

I love cheeky, take-charge Sam. This was so bright and cheerful it made me giddy.

I also love how Sam still seems to completely mystify Gene. Getting him to do and say things you would never expect him to, but always in his very gruff Gene way.

And the I love you exchange at the end was perfect.

Thank you!

I wanted to capture some of the lighter side of Sam, the part that is silly and funny :)

And as for being mystifying, that's Sam for you. Always doing the unexpected, just when you think you've got him figured out :)

Just like it did for Gene, the 'I love you' popped out. I didn't mean to write it, but once I did, I just decided to go with it :D

You are welcome! :)

As close to perfect as a Sam/Gene fic can get for me. Sweet and funny and soooo damn hot.

I totally agree that the foreplay bits get left out of Sam/Gene love scenes a lot in favour of assuming they wouldn't be that way together, but I think it's totaly plausable that they would, particularly if they became emotionally intimate.

I just loved it to bits, you did an amazing job. Thank you so much for writing it!

Wow, thank you so much! I've got a big grin on my face right now :D

Sam has always struck me as the romantic, and, being Sam, I thought if he wanted to romance Gene, he'd have to practically kidnap him and tie him up. Gene ends up not minding of course, because Sam knows his audience :)

I love this comment to bits! :)
