I've been having some frustration lately with my senior seminar - namely the hook for my thesis. I'm not sure where I want to take the information I have and it's been driving me crazy, since everyone else seems to be doing just fine with it and I'm stuck. It makes me feel like a bad historian, honestly.

Nope, you got it - it's more a fear of not knowing who you are anymore than anything else! I'm one of the least homophobic people I know and I've got quite a few gay friends (and a gay cat named Tony - I am now up to 4 cats), but this struck randomly my sophomore year and it just...was really odd. I think it's more like a fear of not being who you think you are.

Lol, I feel the same way about my baseball team. Even the one red-shirt senior is younger then me (by a few months, but still). So I feel sort of creepy being attracted to them now. I've tried to come to terms with treating them all like little brothers. Sometimes, this doesn't work and just makes things even more creepy. Lol. UNC's season starts tomorrow too, in LA!! I'm excited. I wish I were there.

YES. EXACTLY. Brett Mooneyham's a year younger than me, and it's not much but it still throws me off. It's just...so, so odd.

Also, this reminded me. G9 is looking for NCAA writers, and I don't think they have a UNC baseball writer yet...and I think you'd be perfect.
