Kama Sutra - A Tale of Love is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Mira Nair, which was one reason I wanted to see it, the other two being Rome's Indira Varma and Lost's Naveen Andrews, as the protagonist and the debauched king, respectively

*grin* Yes, visually it's a gorgeous film on all accounts. (Even the cast, if I'm allowed to be shallow for a moment.)

I really liked the visuals and the music. The characters and plot didn't so much do it for me.

I became quite curious of the book it was based on. It'd be interesting to know if the fault lies in the script or the original.
