Fallen

[zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz]

This hole seems to be deeper
just shadows of who is above
could be that I've fallen
may be I was not looking

trying to climb up
in lateral motions
by colorful rocks
and unstable stones

A sudden solution
A brief bout of myself
some satisfied moments
and short sighted visions

but I can not forget
when reminded by the glare
of future's far dawn
of the never setting past

Once again starting on
uncertain where I stand
looking for the ledge
that before lay beneath

Further down it gets darker
but that light never fades
If I never stop climbing
I will know why I've fallen
