(no subject)
registration went very nicely today. probably because i already had my big registration drama over the past few weeks in my what-the-hell-happened-to-my-scholarship battle with the bursar and financial aid people who happen to be complete assholes. but of course, based on prior experience, i shouldn't have expected otherwise. i finally got financial clearance on thursday, my registration form did not get lost in the bio office this time, and i had a very early registration time on the very first day of registration so i was pleased. of course this is the year where it really doesn't matter, but it was still exciting. intermediate arabic II, microbiology, voice lesson, honors thesis, and, because i can, elementary japanese I. fun times next semester.
i was able to sleep in till at least ten every day this weekend, which is something i don't normally accomplish while at school. jess and i spent a nice weekend minus suitemates, interrupted frequently by angry outbursts, but it was good times anyway. the best part was pizza hut (plus nathan's plus arthur treacher's plus kenny roger's roasters. which i didn't think really existed) and the man with the greasiest hair i've ever seen and the broken table. our dinner adventures are always exciting ones.
i'm going to see harry potter and the goblet of fire thursday at midnight! i've never seen a midnight showing before and i missed seeing the third movie in theaters since i was in paris, so i think this is necessary. and i really could care less about school, so it's all yes. and i'm hosting italian club that day and will be making a massive dessert selection tomorrow :)
i don't think i slept at all last night. and then this morning my milk that i just bought yesterday decided to leak all over the fridge. i live a budget life.
