Fanfiction.net and its fiction ratings....

Really it seems to me they just want to install their own standard as the RULE in matter of fanfictions which I just find bothersome.
I may understand if there wasn't any structure before and that it was a complete mess...
Beside I first thought it was needed then recently I went to see their guide and discovered that it's exactly the same as the old system with other pretty names.
So why establishing a new system, wouldn't that be confusing for the regular readers that don't go on their fracking website, since lots of sub-websites had adopted their ratings?
They state that "qualified publishers" already use their system... yada yada yada... I don't see any names... and a mere idiot can come with these labels, TM my ass!
Dunno why they upset me that much... Maybe because they divide instead of gather... the bastards!

Anyway, posterity will decide but I bet that because of them we will see the two systems cohabiting for a long long long time...
