I sort of delay to report but now seems the good time to relate this event in my own personal journal.
A few days ago, I opened a community duncanmethosfic.
I wanted to do it for so long, not the community thing but the fic recs/reviews thing especially for Highlander. When I signed up for LJ, I browsed on the different community and found highlander_rec which seems to have been abandonned somehow, it's pretty much inactive.
Anyway I didn't want to concurrence it blatantly plus really I almost read exclusively DM/M pairing. I could have done a List where I would have been the only one who post. But I don't especially like the idea of restriction and I don't consider myself as the ultimate guide whose voice is definitive.
I set the List organizing everything taking example with other existing community as snarry_reader.
I haven't promoted it yet and for now I don't intend to. Truth is I hate doing this and it isn't really my point. Just want to rec fics, I don't ask for much else.
