На Пушку попал через час после того как всё закончилось. Тем не менее в такую погоду нельзя не сделать несколько хороших кадров.

yes! it's great to see white Moscow!! all the photos are lovely. it's a magical winter wonderland. Moscow was delightful in May, but I find I really like it this way too. The shades of white cool tones are soothing to the eye and I notice the shapes of things more. ahh I love Moscow!!:)

One wouldn't have to travel anywhere to understand its greatness. It is intrinsic. Even so, having traveled quite a bit, it only leaves me with the belief that it is exceptional in its greatness.

Hmm, what do you add in the word intrinsic?

I am thinking in terms of the intrinsic value of the city. (though I know there are some people who don't believe intrinsic value really exists) In this case I think it applies. I don't think that the city's worth- its estimation of greatness- is based on a comparison to other cities/places and I don't think its value can be easily or even not so easily lost or reduced. The value of Moscow's greatness is essential/inherent to the city and not based on external sources. It is independent. Then I added that even when I compare Moscow to other places, it still holds its value for me. So either way I personally evaluate it, I truly love the place.:)

It is great to hear that. I have the same feeling about it and what is more intriguing - lots and lots of famouse russian writers and poets. This is really amazing place (not for the living btw).

I would love to live in Moscow.:)) oh I really want to. I would make it absolutely amazing. You're feeling is the same and you're a contemporary Russian writer, artist... Herein lies the connection.

Also, I'm thinking just the definition of the word intrinsic...that greatness is an essential characteristic of the city. So without this characteristic, the city wouldn't be exactly Moscow anymore. The greatness is demonstrated in many forms. In the most basic form of the physical- the size of everything is enormous, the decoration/design is colorful and splendid- even the underground is the most beautiful one I have ever seen. And in the most complex form of the people ~ well, you are quite aware of what I think about this form:)))
