New doll in progress...
A quick peek at the doll I started last night. I felt the need to patchwork some scraps of fabric together...actually I've felt this need for quite sometime and have been stitching together small mounds of scraps without any purpose for them whatsoever....until last night it occured to me I should just use that energy to make a doll! And so she was born....
On her face are tiny handpainted leaves and flowers...this is how I'm feeling these days.
So here it is nearly noon and I haven't worked on her yet today...got distracted by Flickr and was looking through My Paper Cranes photos...all 649 of them! If you haven't seen them yet you should have a look. So many inspiring little creatures there to brighten your spirits!
