Too much to say, too little time [edited]
I haven’t updated for the longest time! My gawd, how I miss sitting in front of the computer and blab about my “life”! To kasing nursing eh… Well actually, it’s not THAT difficult; I expected more, to be frank. I think we are kind of tackling lessons rather slowly.[<--these statements are no longer true since July 20, 2005] I mean, when I was interviewed, the duo who interviewed me told me that they just whoosh through things-I quote the male prof: “Yung nga kayang pag-aralan ng isang taon, pinag-aaralan lang dito ng isang buwan eh.” But then, maybe that’s just because we’re freshmen and they are still giving us time to adjust to the new surroundings. Yeah, baka gradual ang pagtaranta nila ng mga students. But I still feel like on the brink of debarment. I sense that I am on the lower half of the class. Man naman kasi, my classmates are so assertive! Sobrang mga responsible pa! They are so resolute on staying and graduating from UST as nursing students. That’s why I can really feel the competition. Pero hindi pa rin ako nagsisipag. I dunno why but my study habits have grown worse. Upon arriving home, I just plunge into the bed and sleep-without even scanning my notes! Tsk tsk…
I have a crush-as in a mega-crush. Think using his surname as yours and being unable to suppress you grin when he’s there. Man, when he passes by, my face just spells exhilaration and bliss. He’s my Psych prof. Name’s Joseph Maglalang. Yes, Maglalang-also the surname of St. Scho’s former tyrant, but now mention the name and I only think of happy thoughts. I find no words to describe how interesting his lectures are and how humorous he is. Basta he’s one of the reasons why I want to remain a UST nursing student. *biglang kinilig* ^____^
How time flies nga naman no? The HS seniors are now also taking their chances at the various universities. Parang kailan lang, ganyan din ako.
I saw Ash and Elizabeth yesterday at the LRT. Lapit na rin birthday ni Anne. I survived the Chem lab con. I meandered through Gateway with friends kanina. I’m planning on abusing the free internet at the school. Wala lang, so happy. ^_^
I feel sick. I was so drenched last night kasi. Man, ganon pala kahirap mag-commute pag umuulan! Flood water seeped into my shoes pa! It was totally eeww. XP~ I’m so beginning to get paranoid about smelly feet and fungal infection. Ang panget naman pag bumaha ulit tapos pag tanggal ko ng sapatos ko eh bumaho ang classroom. And speaking of shoes, I really should invest in a good pair. The shoes I’m using now is the third one already. The first one suffered a more severe “Mentos Moment.” The whole sole came off, not only the heel! Bastos na sapatos, wala ng “pangiti-ngiti” eh, tanggal kaagad! The second one has a hole or something that readily welcomes the stinky floodwater of the Philippines. I shall be praying for this new pair. I hope they will serve me long. Join me in my invocation.
