I went to the NIN show last night. It was a great show. I got there about 30 mins before NIN went on and left as soon as the lights came on so I missed all of the traffic. A friend was able to hang out at my place for about 4 hours so that I could go out worry free. It wasn't that worry free either I texted her about 5 times ;-) This is the first time I've gone out since last November. I prefer the LA shows, it's a different environment there but I still enjoyed the show last night. It was held at the venue I hate most but it was still a great show. It would have been much better if I could have had a better seat. Although, it reminded me of my first NIN show five years ago. The seat to that show was terrible too.
It's funny how 9 years can fly by in a 2 hour span. This show took me back to my parting days, back home. It brought back memories of hanging out in New Orleans while checking out Nothing Studio's and eating at Budda Belly across the street. I thought of driving from New Orleans to CA, I listened to all of the halo's and took HWY 101 up the coast so that I could visit Big Sur (where many songs on that latest album were written)... I do love my road trips. I'll be listening to NIN for a few weeks now. I almost forgot how much I enjoy my concerts.
