weekend again
It's nice to have the weekend upon us again! While I have not made any plans, I am glad there are still sufficient things to do: my sports, my work, my fantasy novel and my personal admin. I am at peace...
I have actually trekked at a lake like the above (which is Lake Serene near Seattle, Washington, USA). It was in the Grand Tetons National Park in the USA. I came upon this calm lake with crystal blue water. I was wadding through the cool waters from the melted mountain snow of September. I could have passed the entire day there...
I have actually done some pretty amazing travelling... It is just that I seldom remember them: my obsession is mostly with the future. But on rare lucid moments --- lucid from the frenzy of obsessing with the future --- I am visited by mind-pictures of tremendous beauty and a profound sense of quiet wonder.
