I'm actually against the idea of (fixed) "groups". Or rather groups should be dynamic. They don't necessarily comprise the same individuals. Some come in, others go out. Sometimes groups disappear because the conditions that favour their existence are gone. Other times groups form spontaneously... It's bad enough to have "you and me", it is worse to have "us and them"... Any form of group-typing ought to be downplayed (but not eliminated).
