I Don't Ask Much of the Lord but I Ask to be Fed Through a Tube.

Ah yes stress abounds as end of term assignments become due and I rush around in a blind panic trying to complete them. I have been trying to go to my classes but sometimes for concentration purposes it is best that I don't. No offense to my friends, I love you all but I'm so easily amused that sometimes the only way to get things done is to be locked in a dark room with one small light source, a pen and some lined paper. *shudders* lined paper. I just finished my script, its not the worst thing I've ever written but if it were to go to air it may actually cause the building its being played from to implode of its own accord.

Speaking of bad shows, channel 9 seems to have plenty, especially in the childrens area. That show, "The Shak" that's on in the afternoon, I've recently been tempted to write in with a dare (coz they do lame dares that stupid 9 year olds write in like. "Omg I totally dare you to drink water out of the wrong side of the cup lolplz.") So I was thinking of spicing up the whole thing with a dare like "I dare the two female hosts to make out for as long as they can." Or "I dare all four of you to have an on-air orgy for all the kids." Or write into the science guy and ask if he can create something that would make the show watchable. However crap childrens viewing it not limited to "The Shak", it is just one of the many shows that are on the bottom rung of kids entertainment which also include "The New McDonalds" and "Hi 5" and "The Wiggles". I don't understand why people seem to think they have to talk down to children, its demeaning. -end rant-

I went to Mooloolaba on the weekend with my boyfriend for his cousins wedding. It was very nice actually, the ceremony took place on the HMAS Brisbane memorial, it was over just in time because before too long it started to rain again. The reception was fun too, there was free booze, which I did my best to take advantage of. Apparently I didn't embarress myself which is a small miracle. On Sunday we went to Underwater World and then to Australian Zoo. The Steve Erwin Memorial is beautiful, covered in flowers and posters and inflatable crocodiles and everything seemed to have survived the rain and wind in an okay condition. I was a little disappointed because there weren't any foxes in the fox display but apart from than it was a good day out.

I've also been eating fast food far too much lately, I think I'm addicted again like I was last year. It isn't good because I put on a whole size last time and I'd prefer not to let that happen again. Sticking to a diet is difficult though, I'll give it another go I suppose. I'm apprehensive about losing weight because then all my clothes wouldn't fit and I'd have to buy a whole knew wardrobe which would be expensive.

ANYWAY I should go catch the train, catch ya later guys. <3
