Wow - I sure am loved
So, this whole weekend I've been in San Francisco visiting my brother (who conveniently lives a stone's throw away from Castro). Been having a freaking awesome time, and am now strongly considering moving up here for school. After all, my brother's a Realtor down here, so he can probably hook me up. This has definitely been a change from what I'm used to - you don't see men holding hands in broad daylight or people bringing giant amps to street corners and having their own parties in the street (though I am considering doing the latter sometime - that would be interesting).
However, I went up to Russian River yesterday. It kinda sucked, since it was so damn crowded, and nobody was mildly attractive, but while on the river, I got two calls. One was Green Valley Round Table calling me to see if they could steal me today - nope, I'm in San Francisco! The second was Zack asking if I could cover a shift today - nope, I'm in San Francisco! Then, while I was in this kickass airsoft arena getting my ass shot at (not literally - my arm and stomach were targeted more), Coach Lane RT called me begging for me to come in - nope, I'm in San Francisco getting shot. So far the airsoft has definitely been a highlight, despite the large number (12, to my count) of welts on my body (I swear, I didn't get herpes or anything!).
Well, I'm gonna get dressed and go for a walk down Castro. Should be heading back home later today.
