my first blood donation.... and yum yum outing
this is ur friendly neighborhood reporter reporting on today's blood drive outing!
tips on donating blood(especially for first times like urs truly)
1.have snack or better, proper meal b4 donating. If not, they will tell u to eat then wait 30mins
2.dont worry wat blood type u have, they will check for u anyway =P
3. fill in the consent form and watever forms they tell u to fill in(altho some of teh stuff in the agreement will make u laugh....well, i did =p). They'll issue a blood donation book for u sa a record. u can onli donate again after 3 months
4.DON't LOOK AT THE NEEDLE!
no pain wan maaaaa. it feels something like a bite from an ant
(unless u are like nao =P)
5.they give u a stress ball for a reason. now grope it like ur groping someones balls! 8D (no i have never groped anyones balls....yet)
6.there's a damn good reason why u should go for blood drives with friends....to drive the other fella in the room perhaps the fella having hemodialisis nuts? u get to have fun
7.after the nurse detaches the pack from u.... just do wat she sez and rest.... u might feel woozy, or numb(in iluna's case)
...............or just plain hyper?(in my case)
...in the end u get free drinks or food after ur done with the blood donation!
(my case, its a better way then to cut ur wrist to let the blood out... at least the blood will have good use instead of just... u know =p)
