the problem with prince charming
So I was watching the previews of Cinderella. And the prince says, "No please stay." And he runs after her and he picks up her shoe and then he says, "Stop that girl."
Does the prince go out and try to shoe on all those girls? No, he sends the duke (who is very different from my romance novel dukes). And that's when I realize that even in the storybooks men sometimes aren't enough. And that they always need reinforcements. And that's sad and scary when you're looking for a strong one to follow you when you run.
In other news...I think the room mate/ uncle jumped ship. Not quite sure. Came home from the weekend to find all his stuff missing. No note. A bit scary...
I don't know. A little scared about what the future is going to be like, but I'm hopeful.
