Copied from my blog but I figured I'd inflict it on you anyway
This is one of those times where I know this post is going to be huge and long and I might have been more diligent about updating more frequently but you know.... I've been busy. FRG hilarity has ensued and I've been working on a business plan. It's knitting related and it could be a really cool community resource in addition to helping defray the cost of my fiber addiction (though you know I'd like it to be more than that) . I'm such a 90's sort of girl even if I am a dedicated capitalist. It's like its not enough that it make money it also has to be something that adds value to the community. Meh, making money is not a dirty word. Anyway I'll spare you the details. I also have been trying some new workout tapes, they are pretty fun and I actually don't mind doing them. Like I almost even look forward to it. Such has never been heard to come out of my mouth since I have always hated pointless exercise. But last week I was at BigBoxMart looking to see if there was anything new out I should send to Justin and I saw "Carmen Elektra's strip tease aerobics" Now usually I do netflix them but it was inexpensive and using netflix for an exercise dvd seems rather asinine. So needless to say it came home with me. But its entertaining and no she does not get nekkid, its not even tasteless. But anything to keep entertained enough to exercise is a good thing. I was highly social for me this week. I had lunch with Missy and I also went out to eat with Claire . Then I saw an ad circular for a big sale on mattresses. I have LONG hated the futon we had. It was pretty alright when we first got it but it flattened over time and the only thing that kept it sleepable was the ever increasing amount of toppers I kept adding. Supposedly you can fluff them but how is one supposed to fluff 50 lbs of dead weight without handles? But anyway...since it is my anniversary tomorrow... well anyway we have a nice new bed to sleep on. Its really huge and comfy and it was totally a good idea. I'm also going to start another blog which is sort of funny considering I have three already that I infrequently update but I do want a place to vent about just politics and so thus I'll have this for my wangst and ramblings and then my knitting blog for that and then the other and finally a livejournal that I hardly ever use. I'm thinking of domains for the political one and I've got to pick up the one for my knitting biz anyway so...knitpattern.com and redstategirl.com will be mine. Though at almost 30 maybe I'm not such a girl anymore. Yesterday I spent the majority of the day waiting for the delivery of the mattress. But thats ok I did a bunch of cooking to keep myself entertained. I made a tomato cream sauce which I promptly froze and for dinner I had thai green curry with shrimp over rice noodles. It sounds so impressive till you realize all I did to make the curry was open a jar from trader joes. So as I said tomorrow is my 2nd wedding anniversary. My big plans are to make myself a fantastic meal, I do lead a life of sheer excitement. Anyway now to inflict pictures on you all.
