Naming of the machines
So in coming to name my new computer, I realized I hadn't ever really named my iPhone or iPod. I just called the phone "he" and the iPod "she". So now, all my Mac products have names!
iPod --- Melpomene: Muse of tragedy, song, and dance
iPhone --- Diomedes: Hero during the Trojan war; favoured mortal of Athena who assisted him in battle.
MacBook --- Athena: Goddess of wisdom, war, the arts, industry, justice and skill. Once I go to Athens, I will truly be able to mark her properly with a nice wallpaper of the Parthenon.
Like 'em? I have also decided that my next two vibrators will be Eros and Erato (if you want to know, you'll have to look them up!). Hell, I figured I already had once named "Poseidon" so let's keep it going!
On this most recent trip up north, I realized just how much I miss my friends. I cannot wait to move back after I finish school.
