So pretty much I hate HATE flying standby. Still in Anchorage after trying to get on a flight, one to Salt Lake City and then to Seattle. When that didn't work we had to try one that went all the way to Minneopolis in freakin' Minnesota before then going to Seattle.
Of course, our luck wouldn't allow that either. Have to try for the one going to salt lake tonight.
