The Van.....
Has died....
It started leaking fluid 2 days ago.... Chris tired to take it in yesterday but they were booked and said they could fit us in today. Last night it kept stalling. Chris managed to get it to the Garage, drop the keys off and leave a message (the apt was for 9am today) and cab it home. He got a call this morning telling him it looks like there is something wrong with the transmission. It will cost $2500+ to replace it. His grandman only paid $3000 for the van and Chris has already paid 1000+ on it in repairs over the 1+ years we have had it. So the van will go bye bye and we will need to look for a new/used vehicle.
As for our trip this weekend... We'll be renting a car. Enterprise has a 4 day dealy thing that will cost 21-24$ a day flat rate (KMs included).
So the weekend is not lost! Chris tells me he'll be claiming the trip as a business expence for tax purposes as well.. so that is nice at least.
