if i knew how to LJ cut, i would do so to this whole entry cause this is not about me bragging, its just a reminder as to how far ive come in 1 years time.
first off, feb 06 i moved into my own apartment. on my own, paying all the bills. not a single bit of help from anyone (except Jess).
Ive managed to get Pride or Punishment back and running in full force. im making really good money between my day job and my clothing line. its really crazy how well its picked up since really july.
ive had my ups and downs but ive also managed to maintain an amazing relationship with a girl i couldnt be more in love it. shes so fucking supportive and helpful and doesnt take me for granted and visa versa. sometimes i just want to take her nice places and buy her nice things so i do that whenever i get the chance. in 17 months (as of today) our only fights have been over "Applebees or Fridays". people say love is about sacrifice. and i would sacrifice anything and everything for jess but its fucking amazing that i havent had to sacrifice a single fucking thing in my life since i met her and she still loves me as much as i love her.
also i went to Las Vegas and walked my sister down the isle at the Bellagio. shes married to a guy i would pick any day of the week for her to be with. hes an amazing guy and im fucking psyched hes in my family now.
lastly, and almost importantly, i got the fucking car ive wanted for years. a Scion xB. i walked into a bank, applied for a $14,500 loan, the next day i drove the car home. the car couldnt be more perfect. it was EVERYTHING i ever wanted in the car and more. also with the loan i paid off my other car. so i now own a 2004 Scion xB and a 2002 Hyundai Accent. 2 ballin' cars. i did all this on my own. no co-signers, no help.
when i first met jess, i was in a rut...you can look here and see how close to giving up i was. jess helped me out, drove me to work when i didnt have a car, paid for my license to be un-suspended. shes guided me in the right direction more then a few times. its just amazing that i have an amazing job, clothing line, apartment, 2 ballin' cars, and an amazing girlfriend i wouldnt trade for the world.
good things come to those who deserve it. i never believed it before someone put it into perspective for me.
oh yeah, 5 years+ straight edge aint to shabby either. XXX
