Rumors or a Dream Come True?: Chapter 3
Note: Ryo, Tego, Pi, etc are all in highschool here...but their ages are not necessarily the same; Ryo and Pi are 17 and Tego is 15…

I know that this may be the most stupid move I'll ever make in my life, but I must do it…
Besides…he hasn't been here for almost a week already…I hope he's ok…
"Hey, Pi." Ryo said suddenly as he sat down on the lunch table where his friend sat at. Ryo landed his tray lightly on the table.
"Huh? What is it Ryo?" Yamapi replied, busy eating. Ryo didn't start his lunch yet. "Uh…do you know where…"
His friend was quickly impatient with Ryo's mutterings. "Where what is?" he snapped with a faint annoyance.
Ok, I got to make this quick and snappy…and unnoticeable…
"Where…Tegoshi is?" Ryo asked reluctantly and as quietly as he could. Ryo was taking a big risk; he's clueless of how his friend will react. He's afraid of how Pi will react. Spread it? Tease him? Laugh about it?
A suspicious pair of eyes didn't really answered Ryo's question, in fact it made more questions. "Why do you want to know?" Pi asked quizzically. The teen was surprised by this awkward-to-answer question.
"…it's been almost a week already…" Ryo started off. He searched for words to continue, but it was extra hard, since the highschool student also has to find words that won't be too awkward. "…and he hasn't come to school…I'm worried…"
Yamapi rolled his eyes. "Seriously, why would you ask me?" He took another bite from his curry. "Besides, you are his boy-" A smack on the head quickly shut up Pi from continuing his sentence.
"Shut up!" Ryo whispered. Pi smiled and got up from his seat to throw out his lunch. He made a quick stop to Ryo's ears.
"But then again; just because I shouldn't know, doesn't eliminate the possibility that I don't know." Pi whispered and walked off before Ryo could ask him anything.

Ryo: Yo, you serious that he's home?
Pi: Yesss! He told me on Aim a day ago that he's home and he's sick…but idk if that's true…
Ryo rolled his eyes. He knew he shouldn't trust Pi all the way, but he's already half way to Tegoshi's house, and Ryo was just too lazy to turn back.
The highschool student sighed. So much for paying Pi an expensive lunch at a fancy hotel... Ryo texted another message:
Ryo: Ok, wuteva…I'll go anyways…thx 4 the help anyways…See you =)
A reply popped up in a matter of seconds:
Pi: Wish you good luck, and tell me ALL about it!! Tell me was it awkward, funny, and stupid, messed up…stuff like that…ok? Bye!^^
The teen turned off his phone after reading the message. He stuck his hands into his pockets.
Damn, it's cold…I hate winter…
A gust of snow began to sprinkle from the sky, like salt on food. Ryo rolled his eyes. Talk about winter…
He walked down the people-less street in a slow pace. Tegoshi lives far from the highschool; he lives in the rural town of Ikuno-ku, which is quite far from urban Osaka. The 15 year old has to take a long trip on the train to get to school everyday.
Ryo took out his little strip of paper that had Tegoshi's address on it.
Hmmm…I'm pretty close now…

The teen pressed on the cold door bell planted on the rusty metal door. He looked around the apartment hallway as he waited.
It was not the nicest place to live. The "hallway" was two door-lengths long since there were only two apartments in this small building. The building was even colder than outside, apparently this building doesn't have any heat system. Old, gray paint was painted on the walls, which didn't look very stable. Rusty, dripping pipes spread on the ceiling.
Wow…Tegoshi…I never thought he would live in...
A droplet of water from the pipes dripped onto Ryo's forehead, the water was freezing cold. The teen cursed under his breath.
Suddenly, the door flung open.
"Nishikido-kun?"

Oh...and I just thought that this fic would take place in Osaka...umm...since Ryo is Osakan...
So the highschool is in the city Osaka...and Tegoshi lives in Ikuno-ku...it's the rural part of Osaka...it's real
It's quite far from the city... Also, as you see; Tego's building isn't very nice...hinting something...^^
