Kentucky was awesome! driving up and down hills was pretty annoying and the 20 mph speed limits in suburban areas is gay! but whatever! I had a pretty sweet ride so it didnt matter to me. Getting from theairport to my uncle kelly's house was pathetic. all the highway stuff was a cinch but getting from I75 to hishouse was a joke. our stupid gps was leading us to the railroad tracks half the time andevery time we hitthem a stupid train had to be coming. hahah! We finally were pretty close but the directions were just notdoing it for us so we went to cvs and parked and waited for my uncle to come...Comes out we were 3blocks away. haha. theres lots of forks in the road that mess you up. lol. but after a day of driving backand fourth from our hotel and the church and his house i knew the town like the back of my hand. I wishour gas prices were was cheap as theres! I spent $3.75 on gas today! what a fucking joke! Crist wants to cut the tax on gas for the summer. Awesome idea...but a certain political party is against it! the complain that he has already cut school taxes...okay my argument is that it's a good idea..and it's summer theres no
school in the summer really! lol. (i went off topic a little)

I was soo excited to be with my family. just my grandma, aunt sharon, and aunt debbie were there of the out of towners when i got there...and my cousin danielle was home from school. but as the day went on my uncle sean and aunt linda got there and my uncle danny and my cousins daniel and Jon-Michael got there. After having a bite to eat and mingling a little we all went and checked into our hotel (which was awesome!) I've never stayed in a nice hotel before really. except the place in orlando we were in. We were in the marriot at the cincinnati airport. the place was gorgeous.

After checking in we went back to my uncles and we all followed to the church where we met the pastor and he did a big family interview to get to know us all and how we were feeling. We discussed how we all knew my aunt and great memories and amazing things about her. My Aunt Jackie loved to take in little critters. lol. She was always bring a little dog home from the animal clinic she worked at. Someone had once said to her why dont you just get a regular dog. And her reply was "a regular dog doesnt need a friend" not like shes just dissing on the
regular dogs. meaning dogs that you have to pay for.. She just always had a heart for animals or people who were sufferring... My Aunt Sharon had been diagnosed with cancer in june of last year and my aunt jackie had been real sick but she didnt care, she would call my aunt sharon every day to see how she was doing and never cared about herself. Just a few weeks before her passing Danielle had a real bad cold and she took care of her even though she was feeling horrible. On a day that she was feeling her worst she would get up and go to church and everyone would tell her to just stay home because she isnt feelinggood. and she said I'm going because i want to show you guys how important it is to go to church. Before she got cancer 19 years ago she wasnt much of a church goer. they went on christmas and easter and thanksgiving...that was it. But once diagnosed she began to go more and her faith in god just grew stronger. My uncle visited about a year ago and he went to church with them and he said he was sort of uncomfortable because it was a new environment. But seeing my aunt jackie praising god the way she did just invited him in there and made him feel right at home. She was an addicting person, addicted to god and love to all animals and human kind. After the meeting with the pastor we all went back to my aunts house and my cousins jennifer and christine and jenn's husband dave, and my aunt joanne and uncle michael were there. There were other cousins and aunts and uncles who got there in between church but i dont feel like naming them all...Danielle, Daniel, jon-michael, Alex, Kadryn, Matt, and I all played Apples to Apples on the futon in the bedroom. how we all really fit i cant tell you, i was sitting on the arm of it. lol. We didnt really get to finish, i was one card away from winning, when my uncle mike came in and said we all needed to go check into the hotel and let my uncle get some rest.

We got back to our hotel around 11 and i called michael. I was really beginning to miss him. Then i went to bed... 8am rolled around and my aunt called my room asking if I wanted to eat breakfast at the hotel. I was way too tired to be being disturbed at 8 am so i decided i was just gonna sleep. At 10:30 my uncle called and said that a bunch of the family was gonna go to the waffle house and eat because the hotel food was garbage. haha. so I got up and got dressed, straightenned my hair, put some makeup on, and went down to the lobby to meet them. I have to say their food is pretty good. I had a waffle and some bacon. i didnt finish the bacon so daniel scarfed it down. Haha. Every 5 mins that boy was stuffing something down his throat. and he isnt fat really, well a little but he's pretty muscular as well. it's funny because I always remebered daniel and jon-mike being scrawny and now their both like way bigger than me. lol. But my bro timmy was the same way. lol. After breakfast we went back to the hotel. I was hanging in my grandmas room with her, my aunt linda, and my mom. My mom asked me to go find her a drink so i went down to the lobby and i swear i had to have walked right past the vending machines and straight to the fridge and got a coke and payed 2.25 for it. haha. i turned around and my cousin richie was walking through the doors. I have never seen him so excited to see me. i gave him a 1 armed hug and he natched
the coke out of my hand and put it down and was like I want a real Katie hug. I'm known for my big
awesome hugs in the family. haha. then i got a piggie back ride back to the room. haha. I love seeing richie, he's such a down to earth kinda guy. especially for being raised by my aunt debbie, she's like perfect and richie turning out the way he is, is like a miracle. lol. he's 27 and bald as a baby. haha. I love him and we always tease him for it, but he doesnt care. After hanging out at the hotel for a little bit we went back to my uncle kellys and i swear all of my cousins were playing apples to apples...thats like a lot of people. Richie beat me by 1. We're both really good at it because we're older and a little wiser i guess. had jenn, christine, kristen and dave been playing i dont think i would have been so high up there. lol. they're all older. but im not sure how wise they all are. lol, they were sheltered children. All of my cousins are. Except me because of the family i was raised by and richie because he's been out in the real world for so long and refused to be the sheltered child his mom had destined for him. lol. Afterwards we all went back to the hotel again and got changed and went to the wake. Such an emotional rollercoaster in there. I teared a lot throughout the video that my cousins friends made for it. Lots of memories up on that TV screen. There was a picture of me laying down with my head on my aunt jackies lap because she wouldnt
let me leave her sight because i was sick. She was so caring. Ugh! She was amazing! Towards the end iwent in the room where the family could sit down on the couches and have something to snack on or a drink. It started out with my cousins in there and they went back out except Alex. She and i sat in there talking with my uncle sean and Aunt linda then my mom's cousin Mike and his wife joanne came in...thats a funny story right there. my mom's cousin Mike married Joanne Vallone...Joanne is my aunt jackie's sister. haha! is that not crazy. So mike is my uncles cousin and brother inlaw. haha. My Aunt Jackie's family is very close to us. my aunt and uncle started dating in the 6th grade. So the familes grew up together. so her nieces and nephiews are basically my cousins because we've known since eachother were born. lol.

After the wake the ENTIRE family went to eat dinner. Holy crap! that was a lot of people. we took over the resteraunt. When the checks all came my uncle danny, My mom's cousin Mike, and my uncle Michael siezed the checks and payed for everyone. yikes! i had a 14 dollar meal, and some people's were more. lol. But i must say that fried steak was AWESOME! lol. Then after we all went back to the hotel for bed. Saturday despite having a funeral was a blast! The funeral went on, i really dont want to get into it so much, because i get a little emotional. My Uncle Kelly promised to my Aunt Jackie that he would sing a song to her at her funeral. He sang OCme to Jesus. First of all none of us knew my uncle could sing...My mom's family is very musical. It's in our blood. My uncle Sean and Danny always covered anyone who was singing up. Like my mom has this voice that can be heard miles away and they always covered her up. it's crazy. So we never knew he could sing. Turns out he has the exact same singing vouice as my uncles do, just softer. i think...He was also getting emotional in the song so it may have been that. But my uncle danny decided that when we all meet again that they are all going to prepare songs to sing. kool!..except uncle mike, he cant sing to save his soul, thats why he chose to be a percussionist. haha. I managed to keep myself together basically the whole time. i would tear and almost start to cry but i would stop myself. But when my uncles all got up to carry the casket out i just broke. I couldnt hold it in and just bawled my eyes out. We had to all walk out behind them because we're the family and i was trying not to cry so much because i didnt want people to see me crying. I try so hard not to cry infront of people because i feel weak and i hate that feeling. But we got into the room for the reception and my cousins all crowded around me and just hugged me and my cousin Kristen was like "you know my mom would kick your but if she saw you cryin!" and i was like, i know and started to laugh. so we all just hugged one another for a little bit and we set off in search of food. lol. I was still kinda shakey so Jon-Michael stuck by my side and he asked if i was alright. All i could say was im embarrassed now. I cried so hard when everyone else was able to hold it in. he assured me it was okay. he took it very well so did daniel. They had both went through it pretty hard when my aunt sharon passed last year, seeing as she was their mother and best friend. I finally pulledmyself together and went and got a little sandwich and sat down with dave. he made sure i was okay too. I love him so much. he's an awesome guy! Jennifer choses her men well. lol. he was so upset that my dad was unable to make the trip out, they had bonded so well at my aunt sharon's funeral. I guess because they have the same interrests and everything.

After the funeral all of us cousins with and exception of alex and kadryn went out for dinner. We had planned to go to this pub but they didnt have enough availability for us all. haha. then we tried carrabas and they would have been able to seat us all wiothin 20 mins but we would have to split up and jennifer was like uhh no! and so we went on to Hoggy's! Hoggy's is this nice bar and grill there. the food was AMAZING! We had all decided that we would pay for ourselves and when the checks came i was kinda confused and i'm like uhh i didnt get a check...turns out Dave covered it all. He's nuts! thats like 400 bucks in food for us all. i guess the military is paying well. lol. After dinner we went to starbucks. Daniel, Danielle, and I are all not fans of starbucks so we went accross the plaza to auntie anne's and got some pretzels and went back. While in starbucks my female cousins and i were being stalked by a wierd guy with a polariod camera...Richie and Daniel came to the rescue. :) Then we went back to my uncle kellys and picked up the 2 younger ones and tried to persuade Philly to come with us to go bowling. But, Philly doesnt get to see his dad all too much because he lives with his mother in PA so he wanted to stay with his dad. Which kinda sucks because i havent seen philly since we were like 6 or 7. Before we left I said my goodbyes to my aunts and uncles because i knew we would be getting in late. I gave my uncle kelly this good long hug and i rubbed his back for him and everything. he like didnt want to let go. I love my uncle Kelly! he made the mistake of commenting my eyes. haha. he said i have gorgeous eyes and i was like thanks.. and i told him the story about my eyes. How im so vain about them because i know i have nice eyes. lol. we laughed because people compliment them all the time and im always like thanks but in my head im like "yeah, i know" and we were like laughing so hard...Its coole that out of all of my huge family, 1 of my cousins in each family has these eyes. We still dont know where the gene came from because all of my aunts and uncles and my mom and grandparents and their parents had brown eyes...and all of my aunts and uncles married someone with dark eyes...cept my mom because my dad has these sparkling blue eyes that are to die for! Greg and tim both got them. Jeanette got the shit brown eyes but i got those eyes we cant figure out where they came from. lol.

Bowling was fun. It was a great last night in Kentucky! I'm a very good bowler (not to be vain) but, i had nails on from michael's prom last week so it was kinda wierd getting used to and i still kicked ass! well daniel, Jon-michael, Richie, and Justin were up there too. I'm not sure if dave was too, i know him and daniel had bets going but he was real quiet during the bowling, i think he was tired. the 2 hour time difference was messing with him. After bowling i went back to my uncle kelly's because i had alex and kadryn with me and they were staying at the house and kristen didnt have anymore room in her car because she had christine, matt, and justin with her. we hung out for a little while, i had to print my tickets out on the comp. then we watched christine's skydiving video on her facebook. which makes me decide that im going sky diving for my 21st birthday. and Michael is coming with me. lol. Once i got back to the hotel it was like almost 3 so i called michael and we talked a little bit then i took a shower and packed, set and alarm, and went to bed. boy oh boy did 7 am come quick. i hit snooze till 7:30 then got dressed, finished packing, and went down to put my stuff in the car. when i got down richie and dave were drinking coffee so they put their stuff down and helped me out. then we wentto the waffle house and had some breakfast, i dropped them off and picked my mom up and we were off to the airport.

On the way home we had the best flight attendant in the world. she was like a comedian. she loved her job! by thetime we took off i was out like a light. And i have to say, mommy's always make the best pillows. lol. we got back to orlando at about 12. but we had to wait on my dad to ocme get us and he was in the middle of painting his car so he didnt get there till around 5. so we had some mcdonalds...sooo not filling. we waited a half hour more and decided that we were going to chilis. lol. i love chilis! my dad got there at 5ish and we raced back to psl let my dad out of the car nad my mom drove me up to Ft. pierce for the queen concert. they were absolutely phanominal! i walked in as the 2nd song was starting. i had never heard it before but it was sort of a love song and i sat down next to michael and he sang to me. i hugged him for so long. I missed him so much. we had never been away for that long. after the concert we went for dessert. i had fried ice cream and mike had this apple turnover tht was aweosme! then he took me home and i passed out. lol.

Yesterday was brittany's birthday so we all went to the chinese buffet. some stuff was good and some real bad. I got full pretty fast so i just kinda sipped at some soup for the remainder of the time. afterwards we went back to the house and i figured out how to put music on britt's ipod for her so she can have it for their trip to NY tomorrow. it has this fun vortex game on it. my ipod had shitty games i didnt even bother to play. haha. but she gave me and mike her creative mp3 player to share. lol. eventually im going to get a new ipod because mine like died ages ago so he can have it for himself. we cant really share at the gym too well. lol.

Today was just a regular day i guess. Michael and i hung out and cuddled when he got home from school till he had guitar lessons then we got home and went in the pool...for the first time in forever!! We were in there for hours...Mike picked me up and slammed me into the water at one time when we were wrestling and when he picked me up i somehow got a huge bruse on my sife. eh, oh well. britt decided that toby was going to swim too. and boy does he hate the water. we would have had better luck with the cat. lmao! and she wouldnt let him go. he was miserable. once we forced her to let go he swam over to the steps wehre i was and tried to climb ut me to get out and scratched me all up. and he jumped out of the pool and ran inside sooo fast. lmao! but to punish brittany for putting him in the pool he went in her room and layed on the bed. haha! so she had to go in and get him. and block his little door off so he couldnt get back in. lol. In spite deb took the thing that blocks the doggy door off with her when she moved. she took a lot of stupid things. lol...like tha candle holders off the walls and the picture frames with all the picturesof the family in them. so for lenny's birthday im gonna get a bunch of new frames for his pictures. she also sold the tredmill to lenny's cousin. he was so mad and susan was like well i'll give it back and he was like, no it's okay it's just that she charged you for it when you could have had it for free. he was pissed! After swimming we went in and showed and made soe awesome chicken wraps for dinner and layed down and watched tv. i almost fell asleep so i decided that i had to get up and go home. so i said my good byes and kissedmichael goodnight and headed home. by the time i gopt hom mike had already passed out so we never got to talk before bed like we usually do. :( but it's okay because he was reallly tired. likei am now.

tomorrow, or i guess today now we are having our date night. we're gonna go see a movie and cook dinner together then go to the gym. who knows what in between but we'll have fun. idk, maybe we'll invite hugo and alex to come to the gym with us and hang out a little after. hugo and alex are 2 of mikes friends from school he's been hanging out with lately. he decided he needs better more responsible friends. which is always good.

and now it's bed time... and i forgot that i was gonna add pics so i guess i'll upload them and add them then go to bed. lol!
