The term officially began on Tuesday and I already feel the weight of the world pressing on my shoulders. My current list of mounting projects looks like this:
-I am running a study down at CSU-Pueblo on Monday to see if priming Chritians with compassionate religious values changes their bloodlust
-I am also puting together a study to see if people will be less supportive of military aggression if they read that the majority of Iranians do not hate America and that it is the Hardline wacko Iranian Government's propaganda machine that creates the image that all Iranians think all Americans are the devil
-I am also helping my friend Dave run subjects for his Thesis which predicts that Conservatives have a less secure attachment style than Liberal, in general.
-I am also helping another grad student test old people to see how they react differently to reminders fo death.
-I have also been researching creativity and am currently trying to put together an experiment to see if reminders of mortality inhibit creative thinking.
Oh yes, and then there is class. This term I'm taking a Social Psychology Proseminar along with my second Statistics class and I start teaching my undergraduate research methods class tomorrow.
This term is already infinitly more work than last semester and it just started yesterday.
My dayplanner looks like it just experienced a shit storm of red ink.
I myself walk into that shit storm tomorrow.
