Deep culinary disappointment
I have been really deeply wanting to try a lobster roll from the @lobstertruckdc, but they've never landed near my office. Today, they were within six to ten blocks (er, DC, man, the geography's a bit weird), so I decided to walk over to get one.
No joy. I waited in line for a bit over half an hour, and was only half way through the line, and I needed to get back to work before I got fired.
I ended up getting lunch from @sweetflowmobile (and, yes, at this point, I definitely am eating my Sweetflow before my salad) which was actually my original plan for lunch, but, wow, I'm sad about the Lobster Roll.
I need a nap. And, I spent so long not getting lunch that, even though today is usually the day I would leave work an hour early, I'm only leaving thirty minutes. *sigh*
