eid_ka_chand (festival celebrating Muslim characters!) and
daysofawesome (festival celebrating Jewish characters) are ramping up and starting respectively. To get you in the mood for Eid Ka Chand, you may want to listen to Revealing Ramadan, which is a public radio production featuring Muslems, mostly but not entirely American, about their Ramadan experiences. It's a very happy show, but Ramadan is a fasting practice, so you may not want to listen if you have food issues.
