Heath has been immortalised in a stunning portrait by Australian artist friend Vincent Fantauzzo.
The actor sat for several hour-plus portrait sessions for Fantauzzo - but sadly never got to see the finished work as it was completed just one day before his tragic death on January 22.
Fantauzzo says the theme behind the haunting image - which depicts three versions of Ledger - is the idea that “we all have different consciences and voices in our head that tell us what to do and how to react. They’re not good or bad, they’re just voices that we hear, telling us how to behave. That’s what the other figures are in the painting.” …
