We don't know why he died.

Aw I'm so sorry, he was adorable! A lot of the time animals in the rodentia family get really active right before they pass, its they're way of just living their lives to the fullest when they sense the end is near =/

that was so good of you guys to take care of him before he passed on. you helped him live quite comfortably in his last chapter! kudos for having a heart enough to save him!

ive heard bats dont make good pets and that it cuts their life in half. sorry

we didn't have him as a "pet" really. we found him injured and one of his wings is basically torn off so he would never have survived on his own. maybe we should have let him die then but i didn't want him to get eaten alive by ants!
