a few years ago Garrison Keillor also had issues with drunk ATL peeps yelling shit out

thanks David Cross for a pretty humorous set. certain members of the ATL audience were quite rude actually and went beyond a normal heckling. this one asshole, in our section actually called out BARNES AND NOBLE at one point. DC was like 'what about Barnes and Noble?' and the asshole went on to say WHY DID YOU DO A SIGNING AT BARNES AND NOBLE INSTEAD OF SUPPORTING A LOCAL INDEPENDANT BOOKSTORE?!' DC's reply was great saying, his book being at Barnes and Noble does not preclude it from being at local, smaller stores, his agent tried to get him into an event at local Criminal Records and Fuck You!' and the audience cheered. then said asshole still kept going on about it. the audience was pretty pissed and finally he stopped. then a few minutes later he left. WTF? very strange...security confronted him on the way out and had words but not sure what was said.

Then later some people were really rude, yelling out, interrupting jokes...another WTF? audience was getting ready to find these assholes and hurl them off the fucking balcony. no wonder DC doesn't like ATL..seriously, why would you pay $23-$40 for a ticket then do stupid shit like that. overall it was a great set and DC was really funny but i seriously don't blame him for making fun of the ATL area and seemingly not wanting to really come here. it only takes a few assholes to really fuck it up for everyone. at the end of the set, he actually said 'thanks to MOST of you..' oh brother...we actually felt embarassed for the ATL.

at the end he did show a sneak peak of his new show that i guess is airing over in the UK soon called "the Increasingly Bad Decisions of Todd Margaret" or something like that...and it was hysterical. Will Arnett is in it as well...good times.
