(no subject)
Today is my pay day. YAy! I'm not sure what I have left off my budget, but for some reason there seems to be more money than there should. I checked the bank statements and all is good, it's just me. I'm not complaining though. I'm very thankful!
Last night Joy slept inthe little fold up bed (actually asked to! YAY!) I have it set up in the study as the other bedroom is not available for anything right now (infact, this morning I found the bedroom door open, and Tina the Scaredy-cat "missing". SHe had been hiding under the computer monitor next to my bed O.o, and during the night I heard her up and about -coz I caught her and put a coller with a bell on it! *EVIL MANIACLA LAUGHTER!*- but this morning... I am highly suspicious...) ANYway, Joy picked a little book to read which was a copy of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie. With little pics too. She didn't want me to read it at first, always being the one to do so. So she looked at the pictures and talked about how the little babied were dancing ballet with bare bottoms, and then they were saying "hello" to a baby snake, or dressed up as birdies, etc... She was SOOOOOOO CUUUUUUUTE! Then it was my turn. I read just after S&C had sat too heavily on the bird's eggs and broke them, then replacing them with the eggs that the lizard gave them. I'm sure that bird will have a huge shock when they hatch!
New Years Eve and day was nice and quiet. Had some of my very good friends over, and we stayed up late chatting about the OLD cartoons we used to watch.
"OMG!!! I remember THAT show! (sings theme song remarkably well)" Then we watched anime. My friend Matt brought Cowboy Bebop as well as Full Metal Panic Fumamfu (more? Can't remember), and I finally got to see the ep of CB with the Fridge. We tried to download the hystericly funny anime music video someone mare from that ep (talked about previously) but the imagte part of it wouldn't work on my compy and the dammned program clashes with windos 98. Scum!
Anyway. We also watched Asterix vrs Ceaser (live action. Very well done). Then Matt & I watched the Indianna Jones movies back to back on pay tv. And we had wine! TEE HEE HEE!
What else?
THe girls next door have gone to visit their cousins for a few weeks, which has left Joy pining away for someone to paly with. I'm looking forward to going home.
Yesterday I started tidying Di's bedroom coz she will be back in about a week. Hung the clothes up, folded clothes, found cat puke on the bed... Dunno where everything else will go yet. I reckon Di would make a fortune if she was able to have a garage sale! I'm a bit dissapointed with myself, coz I wanted this place to be completely done for when she get's back, but I don't think it will be. *SIGH!*
