I'm back in Kunming again. Yesterday morning, the tour bus went to Yulong Shan, which is close to Lijiang. Shan means mountain, so Yulong Shan is a mountain. It was pretty, although it might have been prettier if clouds weren't covering all the peaks around us. Oh well. I had some yak meat up there too, and that was hella good.
In the afternoon, the bus drove back from Lijiang to Dali, which took like 7 hours, including the time that we stopped at 2 jade stores for half an hour each. Yunnan is close to Burma, which produces lots of jade, so they drag all the tourists to these jade shops that are positioned along the highway between these two cities. Then, we took a sleeper train back to Kunming that left at 11 and arrived at 7 o'clock or thereabouts this morning. I went "home" and showered, and then I slept until 2 PM. Then it took me an hour to get up, and my parents dragged me out of the house and sat me in this internet bar. They're wandering around Walmart right now.
I'm flying to Beijing tomorrow for my language program. I'm kinda nervous...
