Ohno Satoshi: Passed his use by date
Ohno is 30! I'm sure you're all aware of that, but are you aware that because he is 30, Arashi have 'graduated' from idol magazines Potato, Wink Up, and Duet? Yeah, you probably all are, right? XD
Yes, apparently it's unwritten law that 30 is the age you get the boot from idol magazines. Replaced by a younger model of boy band. Shunned by the tweenies. Ridiculed and punished! Ohno is thirty! STONE HIM! AND HIS FRIENDS!
They've lost their regular page (not sure what mag) which they had since their debut covering solo interviews and info about each members activities. The idol mags are saying it's nothing to do with age but is in fact because the members are so busy, to the point where they are barely able to get time together anymore. Of course if Ohno had the time, they'd love to have him in their mag once in a while.... psssh. Ohno doesn't need your petty sympathy mag spots.
I think now would be a good time to bring up the point that the GROUP isn't 30 years old (oh, now that's a scary thought!), it's just Ohno. Why should the whole of Arashi have to go? D: Can't they just like... pixel out his face and black out his parts of interviews? Like a criminal. Cause it's criminal to turn 30 in Candy Land.
Some Japanese fans are putting a good spin on it, saying it was pretty tough on them buying every mag Arashi were in so it's kind of saving their broke ass. Others are saying if it means the guys have more time to enjoy themselves, well it's not such a bad thing. Except for the fact that at the height of popularity they're being discarded cause Ohno is apparently passed the idol use by date. WHAT THE HELL JAPAN.
