Real life highschool dramaz
Whether this is true or not nobody knows, but rumour has it amongst fans that Yamapi and Koki hate each other. Not just hate, I'm talking detest to the most extreme level, to the point where it's said they ignore each other in the dressing rooms. That bad. How did it ever get to this?
I'll tell you - or rather, one of their classmates will, the fucking snitch. "They used to like different types of girls, but in the end it wound up being Abiru Yuu. Koki and Abiru used to be in a relationship for a while, but they had a fight and broke up. When that happened, the person she turned to talk to was Yamapi and they became a lot closer. When Koki realized, he got pushy and went back with Abiru. Yamapi's close friend Shirota Yu got pissed and harassed Koki in class up until graduation. Shirota was the class leader, but at graduation, he didn't call Koki's name. Now that I think about it, that was pretty cruel, wasn't it?"

After the catastrophe with Koki, Abiru and Yamapi started a relationship. During that time, they went to their fave club where they had an encounter with Koki, who in his simple-mindedness picked a fight with Abiru. Yamapi fretted about her and decided to just dive on in and brawl with Koki over it. Imagine being in the club that night - "Oh my god it's THURSDAY! I forgot they had jelly wrestling! You guys selling popcorn?". Who do you think would have won?
It's not confirmed whether or not they actually got into a fist fight, but I'd like to think so. I'd like to think there were bikinis too, and a shallow pit of pink jelly, with Sho dressed in his Quiz Show sparkly tux holding a drop down mic saying "Let's get reeeeeaaaaady to RUUUUUUUUMBLE!" and then doing the 'dream chance' dance.
He was made to be a Johnny's jelly wrestling referee. Look at him shake it ♥
But then Abiru and Pi had their own catastrophe in 2008 and reverted to only speaking greetings to each other if they met. "If I had to make a call on it I'd say Yamapi and Shirota hated Koki, and Yamapi's new girlfriend probably noticed his childishness." (from the same classmate)
Despite having these issues it seems that they've come out the other side and their relationship has mended or is on the mend. The evidence came from Koki himself in a radio broadcast of KAT-TUN style on November 10th.
"It's kinda off topic but is it cool if I say something? I'm awesome! This is something to boast about - the other day, I sang "Ai sareru yori, ashitai" [more than being loved, I want to love you] at karaoke with Yamapi!!. We were at a party for a mutual friend and we just ended up singing together (omission) and I just couldn't help myself I had to get up and dance! 『あ～いされるよりも～♪』 [mooooore than being loved ~♪]"
He was extremely happy, but it was probably more for being able to do a duet with his sempai than as classmates. Because they've fought before they're able to be good friends now. We're all looking forward to the developments in their relationship. Heh. Yes we are.
