7:30 AM: Wake up crammed in a bed with three other people. Wonder briefly why I'm spooning with a gay boy. Argue with the bed's owner that it is actually 7:30 and not 8. End up in large, queer dogpile.
8:30 AM: Migrate to Main St. for Parade preparation.
10:00 AM: Walk with PFLAG, TruColors and members of the Sonora High GSA In the annual Round-Up Parade. Officially identify self with most hated group of people in this county. Have far, far too much fun with ribbon dancers.
11:45 AM: Arrive back home and relate highlights of parade to uncomprehending father.
1:00 PM: Attempt (in vain) to sleep.
3:00 PM: Begin drive to Davis. Attempt (again, in vain) to sleep.
5:30 PM: Arrive at Sudwerks for annual Sierra Club Awards Banquet. Give brief speech about self, plans, etc. Am corrected for the remainder of the night because I assumed that people wouldn't know where Sonora is (should've realized who I was talking to). Meet all sorts of interesting people. Decide that I want to become active in the organization.
9:30 PM: Depart for home. Sleep.
This was one of the best days I've ever had. I just wish I had been slightly more conscious to experience it.
