Good day
I have felt really happy today. I believe that it's because I've had good human contact the past few days. My sister has been off work since Thurs. She spent a lot of time with me which is unusual. And the phone call with Lanny and Marg last night was like a visit with them. I realize that I truly need more human interaction, but just don't know the first step in getting there. I can't get my therapist to call me back to schedule an appt so I guess I'm going to have to find another agency. I so hate to lose her. We worked together so well, and she knew how important art is to me, and used that in our work.
I did some major decluttering. I have 7 yard bags of clothes to take to Salvation Army. So now all the clutter is cleaned up, and all my clothes are clean. Tomorrow I'm going to vacuum and dust and everything will be all clean and tidy. I love it! ooops...well, not the studio. I'm really toying with the idea of moving the studio back into the little nook behind the stairs where I used to have it. That area is smaller and doesn't have built in cabinets, but at least when it's a wreck no one can see it.
I took a picture of my first beeswax and bead project. You can see that I'm not that good, but I love the look and know that practice will improve my skill.
I have never worked with polymer clay so I bought some the other day. I want to make a "thing" for the top of a box and then surround it with seed beads. I think I didn't bake it long enough. I am using my toaster oven and the temp is wacky so I set it lower than the instructions said. It's hard but still a tiny bit pliable. But it looks good!
I am looking for a source for fruit crates. I want the strips of wood for some of my La Casa Loca projects. Anyone have an idea where I might start looking? Free would be great!

Laddan won first place in the college rodeo last weekend and today. Tonight he is driving to ?Indio? CA for a pro rodeo tomorrow. Then he's going to central TX for a couple next week since he's on Spring break.
I've been worrying about whether I'd get to go to the college rodeo finals in WY in June since Danny and I have parted ways. Laddan said he will come get me on his way to WY. Im so glad about that!!
I went online today looking for a bag for my laptop. I thought I'd just spend about $30. I thought it would be cool to get a pink one or some neat pattern since they all seem to be black. Well!!!! I found this place...http://www.caseclosedbags.com/home_new/home_new.htm and they have this bag
How cute is that??? I have to have it!! It's $150 which is outrageous, but if the yearning doesn't wane Im going to buy it!! I found some great pink ones, but I have a 15 in monitor and the less expensive ones aren't big enough :(
