I’m hooked on Full House!

Not the show with the Olsen twins, but the Korean comedy/drama series made a few years back. My friend lent me her DVD trying to get me into Japanese anime and Korean shows since all I ever download is American shows.

It stars Rain, supposedly a big star in Asia (and a Korean Justin Timberlake apparently??). I didn’t think I would like the show, but it’s fun, cute and just really enjoyable. It only has 16 episodes and up to episode 11 now and can’t wait to get home from work to continue to watch it. I think I am getting obsessed!

What is the show about? A writer owns a house (called Full House) but her friends send her away to China so that they can con her and sell her house because they need the money. She comes back to see that he house is sold to a popular movie star. To buy back her house, she becomes his maid cooking and cleaning for him and they enter into a marriage contract. They don’t get along and they fight and bicker all the time but eventually they will fall in love with each other. There are complications of course. The show is one big love tangle - the actor is in love with his childhood friend, but she loves his friend, but he loves the writer but the writer and actor are married, but then his childhood friend wants him now, but his wife likes his friend back but is falling in love with her husband who she hated at first, and he with her. Really confusing huh? The show didn’t sound good to me at first, but once I got watching, I couldn’t stop :)

I haven’t been into TV shows as much as I use to be, but I guess I blame the writer’s strike for that and haven’t been watching as much shows as I use to. Though I still catch up with The Office, Ugly Betty and Bones and have fallen behind on OTH, CSI:NY, Grey’s, BSG and lost interest in Smallville now.

Sorry for my lack of posting, I hardly use photoshop now, and pretty much done making arts now, but will try to post more personal stuff more often.

You can watch Full House with English subtitles (16 episodes, over 1 hour each) on this site, but it’s cut up into parts on youtube.

Any recommendations on the next Korean show to watch? Preferably something similar to Full House, some light, fluffy romance?? Do Korean TV series only go on for one season and its the end?? Plus with the US shows being finished for the season, I need something else to watch.

Some pics from the show, because I love! Unlike everyone, Rain doesn’t really do it for me tbqh, but the other guy Yoo Min-Hyuk (don’t know his real name), is so damn fine!!!
