Well school has started so lets do the classic "allow me to blather about my classes" entry.
Classes overall seem pretty chill. Let's see. I dropped my Deductive Logic course becuase it wasn't what i thought and had a prerequisite i didnt know about. In its place I'm taking an Algebra and Number Theory class. A really good choice. The prof is from Madrid and is a like assistant professor, aka he needs to work really hard to hold onto his job. It's also the first time hes taught the class, which means he could be either really leinant due to the fact or wicked strict and hard to counter it. So we'll see. The first lecture was really good though. He really enjoys proofs and views the class as an intro to proof writng class too, which will be sweet. Physics lectures are really god, but the book is wicked dry. MV Calc i dont know about yet since the material is just boring vector geometry stuff so far. But Im sure it will eventually become quite cool. Creative writing seem slike it will be fun. The class seems quite split between people who are really good writers and those who really shouldnt be in the class. At least thats my impression from the first story we all gave to eachother. Music theory seems like it will be pretty easy but also exactly what I was hoping for.
In other equally boring news I fear that my rock climbing class might be cancelled. I was talking to a staff person at the gym and they said it gets cancelled quite frequently because not enough people sign up for it to make the class profitable for COE. So thats kida sad. Yet at the same time I wouldnt be that upset cuz i really dont want to have to wait until the end of November before going home.
In more amusing news, Decemberist concert plans seem to be going well. As long as there isnt a snow storm preventing my mom from getting me, I predict it wll beone of th ebest weekends of my life. I still cant decide if I'm going to dress up for it. I might just have to wip out the black suspenders and giant omish hat for the occasion.But we shall see.
Ok its dece late. I dont feel like even rereading this for errors, so whatever. See you in another couple months when I get bored enough to want to update again. I might post up my assignments for creative writing, thoughm or at least portions of them. Or maybe Ill post them in parts like in the old newspaper days when they published stories in parts. Just to keep you on your toes. Anywhoo I'm out. Peace.
