Since when did the Illuminati INTENTIONALLY blow up Hulk's new planet/family/friends? I thought that was due to a malfunction in his spacecraft causing the whole thing to go haywire, which in turn resulted in the explosion. Which means they didn't actually set out to blow him and his family up.

I think my list got a little confusing.

It wasn't intentional, but it did happen as a consequence of the "Shoot Hulk into Space" plot point. Also did Tony bring about the registration, or was he just the strongest proponent of it.

I also forgot to mention the new team of Avengers, and the lame excuse for the name of the Negative Zone Jail (#42)

He was the strongest proponent. Actually, the registration act was up for debate even before the New Warriors incident (there was an issue of Spider-Man where Spidey popped into Washington to give his anti-registration thoughts while dangling from the ceiling, no lie), but that incident set obviously stoked the flames to their hottest.

Why did the New Warriors blow up that city?

Why was the Hulk blasted into space?

Has Captain America been brought back from the dead yet? I'm sure it'll happen if it hasn't already.

1) It was an accident. A botched attack on some explosive bad guys. Negligence may have played a factor, however - the New Warriors had their own reality show, and they knew they were in over their heads with this particular assault but wanted the ratings.

2) The individuals in question decided that, due to the death and destruction caused by Hulk and the lack of success at finding a cure, the best option was to send him someplace where he'd do no harm.

3) No. Brubaker says he has the next two years planned out but hasn't planned for Cap to be resurrected, so I guess that means they'll probably be waiting two years.

2) Who else is/was in the New Warriors, and why did Hulk need a cure?

(I really should just read it myself, but I can't afford comics these days) :(

Speedball, Night Thrasher, Namorita, and Microbe were in the new warriors at the time Civil War #1, and were all (except Speedball) supposedly killed in the explosion. Since then Namorita has shown up in the new Namor series, and Night Thrasher was possibly revived for the new New Warriors series.

The Hulk needed a cure because it's an underlying theme of the Hulk. The Illuminati couldn't neutralize him, so they ejected him from the game so to speak.

If you want to read up on Civil War without having to buy all the issues, or trades, just go to wikipedia, most of it is covered there anyway.
