best line of the night.
well, i had an awesome weekend. and THAT is a good thing ;)
friday my parents and sister left for Atlantic City (or AC as they say in that really gay New Jersey commercial) around 1pm and i went about my errands for the day, including a trip BACK to CVS to buy yet more mascara (apparently no one in my family can pass up the buy one, get one for 1 cent deal). later than day shell and i headed out to PNC Bank Art Center for the Norah Jones concert. Despite getting there REALLY early and some stupid girl spilling my drink on my blanket and another stupid old man knocking what was left of my drink over, i had an AWESOME time. it was just perfect, sitting out under the star (lol) listening to such peaceful music. wonderful night. shell and i then went on a search for the best dounkin donuts to buy 50 munchkins (the one by CVS won) and then came back to my house and eventually, fell asleep.
saturday brought the house to myself and then shell and melissa over for pizza and movie time. in our desperate hunger we called the pizza place BEFORE we got the movies, which left us on a serious time schedule. never-the-less, we did beat the pizza guy by at least 10 minutes. and i never again want to have to give my phone number out to a delivery service.
and finally today i had three goals. clean the house a bit, work on my psych paper, and read - a lot. all three accomplished and the psych paper is actually done :) i spent sooo much time out on the deck today. i wonder what i would have done if we had never built it. furthermore i have decided i don't ever need a husband. just a good hammock.
i think such a good weekend will allow me to get through this week with some ease, considering it IS the last week of class! :-D
i also spoke to adam yesterday and it now looks like he may be coming up by himself, which will actually probably be nicer. he probably will take the train now, so i'll have to pick him up. which is why i am now trying to get ahold of him, as i do not want to drive down to trenton when metro park is as close as it is.
