what a fun few days :)
thursday was lab day. we're doing a greenhouse effect lab and part of the lab required exhaust from a car. so my group (all girls) went out into the parking lot in search of a car. finally one drove by and i, naturally, flagged the car down
me - "excuse me. this may sound a little weird, but can have some of your exhaust?"
the driver (male) - "sure. *grins. Want me to rev it up?"
haha. i almost died. my group member held the bag too close to the muffler though, so we had to do it again. cept no one else was brave enough to do it. so who flagged down the second car? me. it was really funny though. never ever though i'd do that in lab.
thursday night wasn't so good though. major chem test friday morning meant i was up studying with my group from 7pm till 11:30pm. ugh. when i went to dinner before hand, rachel gave me a hug cuz she said i looked like i needed one and andrew walked me to the meeting site so i wouldn't run in front of a train. it was a long night. lol
friday was fun though. not sure how i did on the chem test, but i didn't care. after a REALLY stressful week i was just so elated it was actually friday! i bought some stuff at the bookstore for my sister and i'm going to mail her a care package. aww. hehe. last night after dinner, we were trying to decide what to do and i realized i wanted to get off campus. so i suggested just taking the bus somewhere. haha. well, we ended up at the movies (it was between that and IHOP). we wanted to see chicago, but since it was 10:30 , there were no more shows :( so we saw 'bringing down the house' which was actually pretty fun. the tae-bo scene is my favorite :) then we came back to my room and ordered domino's at 1am. mmmmm. soooo good :)
today i went shopping! soooo wonderful. bought a shit load of stuff too. some clothes (it needs to stay warm now..lol) ..a skirt (oo lala) and a bunch of stuff at walmart (awww yeah!). also a bandana. whee. it was sooo hot in my dorm i had to leave. now it's not so bad. it rained and is still really cloudy, with a cool breeze coming though. mmmm..
tonight is a movie and then rachel is staying over cuz her roommie has a 'male friend' staying over and they will both be drunk. not fun. tomorrow is work day and i think harry potter cuz it's coming on campus and why not?
i am determined NOT to do a lot of work tomorrow. i am so worn out from this past stressful week (literally, i talked to no one besides my roommate and my eating friends and the chemists). and the week after next will be bad too so i don't even want to THINK about it. so i won't.
