AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! So I got called away by family and I just finished Part I and IDEK how to express how brilliant you are. I'm so serious...I say it so much but I am just in awe of the way you write. It's so beautifully eloquent and always spot on with the characters whether it's AU or right smack in with canon. Your voice is so you. You're so sure of it and you display it perfectly while simultaneously never losing the voice of who the characters are. You absolutely find the perfect balance.
AND CAN I JUST SAY I LOVE YOU FOR WRITING M/M FIC FROM MATTHEW'S POV WHILE HE'S IN THE WAR?

I feel like so many were confused by him last year and this THIS is just...NEW HEAD!CANON ACCEPTED. You get him in a way that I wish we could call up Fellowes and get them to shoot this stuff and add it into a Director's cut of S2 or something. lol. OR AT LEAST A TIE-IN NOVEL OKAY? OKAY.
So I'm kind of terrified because I think Matthew seeing Evelyn and Matthew not being able to talk to Mary and the way you described his time in the trenches has already kind of broken me...what is part II going to hold? WHAT WILL IT HOLD? Here I go...past the point of no return. lkajwer
OKAY WOW. I cannot thank you enough. God, your comments always make me a little emotional because your reactions are just brilliant, but this one... woooooo. I AM SO GLAD YOU THINK I STILL GOT THE CHARACTERS RIGHT. I was nervous about that.
