S9 Promo pics
Everyone else is doing this, so I will join in. Don't read if you don't want spoilers.
First off, Ros. DAMN. It was inevitable, I suppose, but still. :(
And then these:
Oh, Harry. This looks rather ominous and you are looking quite tired and pensive. Nothing new, then.
YES. Ruth is holding Harry's hand, very discreetly (!). Read into that what you will, but about time, I say.
Iain Glen! And look, the analogy of Tom's 'boxes' has become a reality; Lucas' life in a suitcase. AHA. I don't know if this will be brilliant or not.
FEIRCE. Well, he fits in with the powers of brood.
I am so used to Max Brown being a sweet, floppy-haired young man in Foyle's War; can he pull off gritty?. As an aside, has the Grid gained more concrete panelling? There is less blue lighting now, though. I would like the pods back, also.
This one is better; dirt, sweat, a bloody nose and buzzcut? Yes, please.
TARIQ. How are you so adorable? Plaid! Floppy hair! Slouching! An incredible speech pattern! Everyone's (my) TV boyfriend is back; please don't let him be killed in a terrible way.

I was afraid it would crumble without Ros. BUT, I've read interviews and the like, and everyone seems pretty great. Though I am reserving judgement for the most part, until I see it, I am no longer as wary as I was; it's more like a sort of tentative excitement peaked by bouts of thinking everything will be AWESOME. Though I am frightened by how much it is about Lucas, actually, just because I hope they don't screw up the previous story lines they've written for him when introducing these new ones. And making him a traitor? It seems too easy, and again, would turn most S7 into gibberish - unless it is constructed ingeniously, I won't be entirely convinced.
Only five more days till we find out. AH.
